How Does Tapping Work?
For thousands of years we have known about meridians that are also called energy pathways. This energy system runs through our body and literally keeps us well and energised.
Tapping helps to retune any blips or blocks that may be in our energy system.
Are There Different Ways To Tap?
There are many forms of Tapping. Thought Field Therapy was the firat form of Tapping created by a Psychologist called Roger Callahan in the 1980's, when he stumbeld across a quick fix for phobias.
Then came EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). EFT was created by Gary Craig, a student of Roger Callahan. EFT is the most popular form of tapping. It is the technique of gently but firmly tapping energy points on the body to bring relief from stress related conditions, including illness.
Two Meridian Tapping is another - slightly more advanced - form of tapping.
How is Two Meridian Tapping Different from other forms of Tapping?
Most forms of Tapping, tap on only one energy point on the body at a time – or tap the same point on both sides of the body.
Two Meridian Tapping (TMT) involves tapping two different (but related) energy points on the body - at the same time and in a certain order. Tapping this way helps to balance up all our energy pathways quicker allowing our energy to flow faster.
This seems to allow our whole vibrations to help each other retune all stressed states, especially deep emotional events from our past.
What Are we Retuning Our Energy Pathways To?
I think there is a few levels of tuning going on. First - we are allowing the two meridians or energy pathways to retune with one another.
Second - whatever we are thinking is the frequency that we generally tune to. That is why, I use ‘I truly …’ positive statements focused in the present tense. Like ‘I truly am calm’.
I am tuning the vibrations of these related pathways to the positive vibration of the thought I am thinking at that time.
Why Can Two Meridian Tapping Work So Well, With Lasting Effect?
We are energy beings - filled with strings of electric vibrations which gets carried through us by millions and trillions of little hydrated (water) crystals. By Tapping on two different points together you help the electricity in the energy lines, or pathways to tune-up to their best frequency.
Everything is connected and related. There are so many strong energy fields out there and they can knock us out of balance so easily.

How Many Tapping Sessions Will I need?
This really depends on the needs of the clients. I find that clients can need anything from 4-6 sessions. Sometimes clients book a combination of Kinesiology and Tapping sessions to help retune mind, body and soul. Others prefer to have only Kinesiology and still others choose Tapping on its own.
