How Does Tapping Work?
Tapping is where you literally tap very gently but rapidly on certain energy points. These energy points are at the beginning or end of energy pathways, also called meridians.
When you tap you send a little pulse of energy vibration into that energy pathway (meridian). The frequency of the vibration you send into the pathway is set my the thought you are thinking at that time.

Are There Different Ways To Tap?
There are many forms of Tapping.
Thought Field Therapy
This was the first form of Tapping created by a Psychologist called Roger Callahan in the 1980’s, when he stumbled across what is now known as the ‘quick fix’ for phobias.
EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques
Then came EFT, created by Gary Craig, who was a student of Roger Callahan. EFT is the most popular form of tapping and has the most scientific research proving how Tapping works
Two Meridian Tapping
Two Meridian Tapping (TMT) is a more advanced form of tapping. In Two Meridian Tapping you Tap on two different energy points at the same time in a certain order to bring a greater balance of all your energies.
How is Two Meridian Tapping Different from other forms of Tapping?
Most forms of Tapping, tap on only one energy point on the body at a time – or tap the same point on both sides of the body.
In Two Meridian Tapping (TMT) when you Tap on the two different points at the same time you are helping to balance your yin/yang energy pathways. This will then help to balance your neurotransmitter energies which are the chemical messengers of your body. When these are balanced you manage hormonal changes better.
This seems to allow your whole vibrations to help each other retune all stressed states, especially deep emotional events from your past.
What Are You Retuning Your Energy Pathways To?
I think there is a few levels of tuning going on. First – you are allowing the two meridians or energy pathways to retune with one another.
Second – whatever you are thinking is the frequency that we generally tune to. That is why, I get you to use ‘I truly …’ positive statements focused in the present tense. Like ‘I truly am calm’.
You are tuning the vibrations of these related pathways to the positive vibration of the thought you are thinking at that time.

All your trillions of cells are filled with strings of electric vibrations. By Tapping on two different points together you help to balance the electricity in you energy pathways. This is like tuning-up your energy to it’s best frequency and it’s all natural.

Can Tapping Webinars Work For Things Like Anxiety And Food Cravings?
Yes. Tapping along to pre-recorded videos or with others in a group setting works just as effectively as 1:1 for most people. Though when your issues are very specific, it can be better to attend for a couple of 1:1 sessions.
For example all attendees on a Six Week Webinar Series focused on Retuning Anxiety using Two Meridian Tapping reported major shifts in their anxiety levels. Some have reported total retuning of all anxiety symptoms before the end of the Six Week Programme.

How Many Tapping Sessions Will I need?
This really depends on upper needs. I find that generally clients can need anything from 3-6 sessions. I had a client who wanted to book 7 sessions, but we were twiddling our thumbs at session 4.
I find that for some a combination of Kinesiology and Tapping works really well.
