I really enjoyed the retuning course and have been implementing it to help with some of the stresses in my life. As an undergraduate psychology student, I have not yet learned about anything we covered in your course from a psychology standpoint. However, I have attended clinical psychologists for mental health issues and from this point of view, I was amazed by the effects of tapping in comparison to treatments I have done in therapy. For example, I have found the tapping to be helpful in regulating my disordered eating, whereas I have been trying for ages to tackle this problem by talking about it, trying to rationalise my thought processes and taking medication, to no avail. Up until this, I had never really considered how mental health could be related to the whole body, daily habits, energy systems etc and had just been trying to change what’s “in my head”.
