Two Meridian Tapping is a new and advanced form of Tapping. Tapping being the technique of gently but firmly tapping certain energy points on the body to bring lasting relief from stress related conditions, including illness. Two Meridian Tapping involves the tapping of two different but related points on the body at the same time for stress relief.
Tapping to Retune Energy Vibrations – The Natural Way
Cut open any one of your trillions of cells and you will discover that you are made up of tiny strings of vibrational energy. We are all packed full with vibrational energy. Vibrations can and are influenced by other vibrations and this can be a positive and negative experience.
Tapping Brings Lasting Change To Our Thoughts
Tapping can change our thoughts. Did you know that your thoughts have the greatest impact on your energy vibrations. Your thoughts can make you ill or keep you well. Your thoughts make you the successful, kind, loving, caring and helpful person that you are. Or, your thoughts can turn you into a very stressed, easily irritated, unkind, unhelpful person, not capable of loving another person.
The Best News That Tapping Can bring
The Great News is that your negative thoughts can be changed, for ever and that is what Tapping has been doing for many years. Two Meridian Tapping is a pretty new system that seems to work faster than any of the forms I have used before it. But, it does have its routes firmly planted in all the other forms of Tapping as well as many Kinesiology and other energy therapies I am trained in.
Two Meridian Tapping Stands on the Strong Shoulders of Many Other Tapping Techniques
Two Meridian Tapping is the product of all that I am and have become. It is the essence of every single therapy I have trained in. It contains the sum of my life’s experiences and the knowledge I have gained from working with Complementary Therapies.
For many years I knew the value of Tapping. As a kinesiologist I had been given a basic training in Thought Field Therapy (TFT), the first modern day tapping technique to be created by Roger Callahan. I say modern day, because tapping really has it’s origins in Acupressure. This was a technique used by the Chinese some 5,000 or more years ago for helping to bring balance to the bodies energy systems also called meridians.
Roger Callahan The Founder of Modern Day Tapping
Roger Callahan always spoke of how he stumbled upon Tapping through sheer frustration as he worked with a client who had a severe water phobia. Mary had such a fear of water that she couldn’t bring herself to bathe her own children. While Roger had managed to bring her some improvements with her phobia, nothing seemed to work long term for Mary. I should point out that Roger Callahan was a leading psychologist in his field.
Mary’s Tapping Success
The story goes that this particular day, as he was working with Mary, who was really feeling (‘in the mode’ of) her fear, he asked her where she was feeling the fear in her body. Mary said she felt sick and pained in her stomach. Callahan then remembered that the stomach meridian point was under the eye and given that the woman said she felt the fear of water was causing her pain right down in her stomach he got her to tap this meridian point.
Within minutes her severe phobia left her, never to return. Mary went that night to stand in the sea, in the middle of a storm and felt No Fear! This lead to Roger Callahan being known as the fixer of phobias in five minutes! Roger then went on to create many tapping sequences (known as algorithms) to work on specific stressed conditions, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, etc.
Thought Field Therapy – The Beginning of Tapping
Roger Callaghan called his form of tapping Thought Field Therapy because it was a good way to describe what happens to negative emotions and traumas in our past that don’t get resolved. These emotions get condensed into a ‘thought field’. The thought fields then seek out similar thoughts and experiences to validate their view and somehow bond together. The more experiences they can gather the greater the block they can cause in the energy systems of our bodies, and the stronger those negative thoughts will become in our subconscious thinking. From my many years of working in the field of Energy Healing I have come to believe that such thoughts have a direct bearing on how we feel both emotionally and physically.
In his book ‘Tapping the Healer Within’ Callaghan says:
This active information in this thought field creates distress in your life by disrupting the body’s internal energy flow, causing psychological upheaval that sabotages your emotional well-being.
Gary Craig – The Creator of Emotional Freedom Techniques
Gary Craig, the founder of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) developed Callahans ideas into a more generalised, one system fits all tapping technique. He felt there were too many different sets of algorithms to be remembered with Callahans system. This made if very difficult for people to remember the points. He decided that tapping all the points would mean you left nothing to chance – this meant that there was no longer a need for complicated patterns of using different points for different issues. The important thing was that you would focus on the issue while tapping. This is what made the greater change. So regardless of the issues, everyone tapped the same points. It would be fair then, to say that EFT tended to focus more on the script that was used for the tapping. It was from Craig’s system that many more tapping techniques evolved, like that of Silvia Hartman.
Silvia Hartman – The Creator Of Modern Energy Tapping
I trained in Modern Energy EFT, created by Silvia Hartman. Modern Energy EFT is now called Modern Energy Tapping. Just as Gary could see how to simplify and expand on the work of Roger Callahan, Silvia also found new ways of Tapping. It makes total sense to me that tapping would continue to evolve, because it works with vibrational energy. Vibrational energy is always evolving and expanding. It wasn’t long before I went on to train in another form of Tapping called Matrix Reimprinting Using EFT, created by Karl Dawson.
Karl Dawson And The Matrix
Karl Dawson, in his book ‘Matrix Reimprinting Using EFT’, describes Emotional Freedom Techniques as being:
… a self-help tool that is used to resolve or improve any physical or emotional issue, destructive thought pattern or form of behaviour. It was created by Gary Craig, who adapted it from Thought Field Therapy(TFT). EFT is a simplified version of its predecessor. It involves tapping on points along the body’s meridian system – the system used in acupuncture. While tapping on the points, you bring to mind physical symptoms or negative memories. This helps to release life stresses or physical issues from the body’s energy system and allows it to return to emotional and physical health.
Karl goes on to say;
In EFT it is recognised that to heal any condition we have to heal the mind and the body simultaneously, and that most of the myriad of diseases that are part of our society have their origins in life stresses and traumas. These traumas can easily be resolved with EFT, and the results ultimately affect the physical body.
Karl lists some of the areas where EFT has had some really good results:
…chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, rheumatoid arthritis, MS, IBS, diabetes, asthma, cancer, Crohn’s disease, colitis, vitiligo, alopecia, hypothyroidism, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, among a whole host of other conditions.
Two Meridian Tapping – Tapping For Retuning Vibrations
Two Meridian Tapping is about balancing all our vibrational energies to their best frequency. That may sound complicated, but it is a simple as tuning a station on a radio. We can do this by tapping points on our bodies. These points are at the beginning or end of energy pathways that flow through our body which are called meridians. Meridians or energy pathways were discovered by the Chinese thousands of years ago. There are fourteen main energy pathways with twelve of them running down both sides of our body. These pathways work in pairs and in Two Meridian Tapping, that is what we do, balance the pairs of meridians or pathways by tapping two different points together at the same time.
Optimal Vibrational Energy Frequency
Optimum Vibrational Energy is a mental, chemical, physical and soulful state of being that allows us to reach our greatest and truest potential. Two Meridian Tapping to Retune our stresses bring us to this state. In this place we are healthy in mind and body. We feel a strong connection with the Greater Power. Optimal Vibrational Energy is not the absence of stress. At our optimal frequency, stress is neither good or bad, but rather a natural part of the ebbing and flowing of life. In this place we get to surf the waves of stress that come our way.
