I truly am convinced that combining the practices of meditating and Two Meridian Tapping really do bring double benefits to you. The reason why I am so convinced is because meditating and Two Meridian Tapping really complement one another.

Let me share with you the reasons why I think Meditation and Two Meridian Tapping work so well together.
5 Benefits of Two Meridian Tapping
First Let’s take a look at Two Meridian tapping (TMT) here I am going to mention 5 key benefits of TMT – (1) Balanced yin/yang meridians, (2) Balanced neurotransmitter energies, (3) Balanced Hormones, (4) Reduced Stress, (5)Retuning of old negative thoughts and beliefs to positive ones.
Why Two Meridian Tapping Works
Two Meridian Tapping taps on two different but related meridians at the same time in a specific order to help bring you into your natural meridian energy flow quickly.
Two Meridian Tapping has been designed to not only reduce stress vibrations (as all Tapping does) but to also bring balance to your yin/yang meridian vibrations. This, in turn, will help balance neurotransmitter energies.
When you neurotransmitter energy vibrations are in greater balance you will find that your hormones will come into greater balance. This is because meridians, neurotransmitters and hormones all work in tandem. If one is out, then all can get affected, should that one stay out of balance for a long time.

5 Benefits Mediation
There are so many benefits of Meditation, I’m just going to mention 5. (1) Increased compassion even when stressed, (2) increased grey matter in the brain, (3) increased positive affect, (4) improved mental health, (5) Better digestion.
Meditation and Compassion
Meditation increases compassion. This was found by Paul Condon, Gaëlle Desbordes, Willa B. Miller, and David DeSteno, after they conducted an 8 week meditation programme followed by a post programme ‘set-up’ where they brought meditators into a planned chaotic situation where people with disabilities needed support.
From their findings they noted that the ability to respond to the needs of others was increased by 5 times compared to non meditators. (Report was published in the Association for Psychological Science, titled Meditation Increases Compassionate Responses to Suffering in 2013)
Other Studies On Meditation
This report also acknowledges other research on benefits stemming from meditation, including increases in gray matter density (Hölzel, Carmody, et al., 2011), positive affect (Moyer et al., 2011), and improvement in various mental-health outcomes (Hölzel, Lazar, et al., 2011).
Meditating Improves Gut Health
Sarah Murphy published an article in May 2023 where she cites a recent study by Yang Sun and colleagues who believe it or not looked at the pooh of deep meditating monks and their non-meditating neighbours.
Both groups of people were on the same diets. It turned out the monks had much better gut health than their neighbours. It was concluded that not only had the monks better gut health, but also lower incidence of mental illness, and had lower chance of cardiovascular disease with improved immune function.
Combining Tapping and Meditating
Dawson Church and other EFT Tapping Coaches have been combining Tapping and Meditating and researching the benefits. The 10,000 Hour Rule
In his book Bliss Brain, on page 144, Dawson Church a well respected researcher, author, Meditator, EFT Practitioner and trainer outlines how research has shown that specific ways of meditating combined with Tapping can have lasting benefits on your energy system with just 4-5 hours practice. He goes on to compare this to the common rule of 10,000 hours – where it is believed that to master most skills in life you need 10,000 hours.
Tapping Overcomes the 10,000 Hour Rule
A lot of Tapping Coaches would believe that the 10,000 hour rule can be greatly reduced with Tapping – given that you can retune and re-train the brain in a number of weeks. This is a major game changer when it comes to transforming a lack of confidence into ‘believing you can’.
More Benefits of Meditating and Tapping
Church outlines other benefits researched from a group that were Tapping and meditating for just 1 weekend: lowered cortisol levels, drop in resting heart rates, reduced pain levels, lower levels of depression and anxiety with rising levels of happiness and SIgA (a natural anti-body found in your saliva, mucus, sweat and tears) which helps us fight off infection and viruses.
Combining Meditating and Two Meridian Tapping
I’m back full circle to meditating using Two Meridian Tapping. I have experienced many meditation programmes over my life time and I have also engaged in some of Dawson Church’s Bliss Brain meditation experiences. I still find that they leave you reliant on their recorded Meditation sessions.

I am very big on making things achievable and possible. When something is easy and achievable then you will believe in yourself and your ability to achieve will increase.
Meditation is something you can learn and do every day without recordings, so is Two Meridian Tapping. I want to teach you how to get into meditating each day beginning with just 1-2 minutes, focusing on your breath, rather than dive into a 15 to 20 minute meditation which is really just too much for a beginner or stressed energy, even with Tapping.
