Do you know what stress can do to your energy system? I do! When I am speaking at a workshop or Event I will demonstrate how one negative thought can lower your energy. If that is what one thought will do, what will a whole stressed energy system do?
Sometimes I can’t find the words to describe how Two Meridian Tapping has helped me overcome major stressed states. I don’t think I would be where I am today without Tapping. You might be new to me and my posts and wondering what on earth is Tapping?
Tapping is a very effective energy balancing technology that gets you from stress to calm in minutes. For this to happen, you will need to tap on certain points on your body while thinking about the stress, or saying certain phrases. This is called being in the mode.
My First Tapping Experience
I’ve written before about how I first was introduced to tapping in 2005. I was training as a Systematic Kinesiologist. During my Diploma training course I was shown how to use Thought Field Therapy to help people overcome certain conditions like addictions, fears, phobias, etc. Thought Field Therapy is the original form of modern day Tapping. I have to say I found this form of Tapping to be very effective for my clients, but I never really took to it myself.
I Got Very Stressed
Fast forward to 2014 – a time in my life when I was extremely overstressed and suffering with non-trigger panic attacks. These attacks would come out of nowhere and left me stuck to the ground with my heart pounding like it was going to come out through my rib cage. I would feel like I was going to throw-up and I had to run. But my feet were stuck to the ground, I couldn’t run. I would overheat because I was so overstressed and feel so helpless and hopeless.
Non-Trigger Panic Attacks Make No Sense?
These attacks could happen at any time and with anyone. There was no clear trigger. No indication of one thing causing the attack. The thoughts I was thinking were also not logical.
Yes, at that time I was very stressed. Yes there was a lot going on in my life at that time. I was attending Therapy and found this helpful, but the attacks were not easing and I was feeling very depressed in it all.
Tapping Was My Missing Link
It was Tapping that helped me to get calmed down again. I Tapped on the past events that had caused me Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I realised that there was a whole lot of trauma well rooted in my past and Two Meridian Tapping helped me to resolve and retune that past trauma to states of calm and peace. This was pure success for me because I was able to get back to living my life again.
Tapping Changed My Life Forever
Tapping has changed my life forever. The panic attacks vanished, never to return. The anxiety and stress lingered for a while longer, but I was managing it all with the tapping I was doing. Now when I get stressed, I Tap.
Daily Tapping Keeps You Calm
Once I am managing my days better and focused on hope, happiness and love, I can be more successful in my life. This is why I now Tap everyday. It isn’t that the anxiety from the past is still there, but more that when I don’t tap, I don’t actively focus or tune my energy for what I want to get out of my day. I want to stay in balance each day and Tapping helps me to do this better.
The days I do not Tap, I tend to get caught up in the stresses that come my way. The days that I do tap I tend to be calmer, more in control of my stress response and definitely less distracted.
I Now Use Two Meridian Tapping
In 2017, while I was Tapping one morning, a new way of Tapping came to me. I call it Two Meridian Tapping. That is because it is designed to help balance the two meridians that work together. This New 2-point Tapping system allows me to balance out my Meridian Energy Pathways so that they work better together. When these energy pathways work better together, they help to keep the neurotransmitter energies and hormone energies balanced.
Daily Tapping Sets Your Energy Focus
Each day when I Tap, I use a certain positive script that begins with the words: “I truly …”. When I do this, I am retuning my whole energy field to the frequency of the positive script or affirmation. This is in line with the Eastern Medicine view that it is the thought that sets your energy frequency and the blood and body will vibrate to that frequency.
When I think a positive script that is about now, I am tuning my energy to the vibration of that script and the rest of my whole energy will follow. In my book – Tap Into Success – I have a chapter full of ‘I truly …’ positive scripts that could help you refocus your stress quicker.

I came to Nuala’s book after having done some group and individual sessions with her first (via zoom). For me, in a very short period of time, learned the two meridian tapping system and how to use positive statements to set me up for my day at work. Work was the overt cause of my stress but through a few intensive sessions with Nuala I was able to delve deeper and revisit past traumas which were the real cause of the constant stress I was feeling.
