At the weekend I was out on my road bike and the one thing I looked forward to was just 5 minutes rebounding at the end of the cycle.
Post Viral Illness & Exercise
I have to confess that because of my history with a Post Viral Illness (for over 30 years), I am unable to cycle much. This is why I prefer to use an E-assist bike to help get me up the hills with relative ease and allow me to go on longer cycles.
I have only begun to use a road bike over the last year. This is a major achievement for me on many fronts. Road bikes have very thin tyres and are easy to fall off!! But for me, a road bike also means, shorter journeys and the possibility of over doing it.
Even Gentle Rebounding Works
The beauty about gentle rebounding is that I don’t have to be long on the rebounder for my body to begin to feel benefits. Rebounding stimulates the lymphatic system to work better and quicker. This helps the lactic acid that has built up in the muscles during the cycle to get pumped out of the body quicker.
For me this is a real benefit and it allows me to have less soreness after a cycle and to be back on the bike quicker. I do have to say that no amount of rebounding can help with the soreness left after being on that saddle for over two hours.
The Benefits of Gentle Rebounding
Rebounding has so many benefits that I really think every single person should be doing some gentle rebounding every day. Even just 5 minutes gentle rebounding will help you get your lymphatic system working better, but why stop at 5 minutes.

I can’t exercise a lot. I fatigue easily, even with great nutritional support. This is the outcome of a Post Viral Illness over 30 years ago. I have worked hard to get myself to a place of Wellness and I see exercise as being a great part of this process.
I Have A Long History With Rebounding
I was training to be a Kinesiologist back in 2005 when I was introduced to Rebounding as a great way to help boost lymphatic drainage. I have been on a rebounder ever since. But it was only in the last number of years that I really came to fully understand the amazing benefits of even the gentlest of rebounding.
Exercise Doesn’t Need To Be Hard
You do not need to be killing yourself exercising, like me on my bike at the weekend. You can start with just 1 minute a day and build up your rebounding ability using my Rebound For Wellness Programmes:
Rebound For Wellness Feedback
You can get into Rebounding, it is never too late. I know that there are many women who have begun to Rebound For Wellness and they have so many success stories to tell. One lady, over 70 shared with me how rebounding gave her energy. She feels more confident in her body thanks to rebounding for wellness.
Another lady told me of how she now exercises pretty much every day, before she was never able to stick to an exercise programme.
Another lady who has MS says that starting to rebound at just 1 minute made all the difference to her life and her mobility.
Weight Loss Comes Slowly And Surely
I have clients who wanted to lose some weight and initially felt disheartened because they were not losing weight. That was because the programme starts at just 1 minute and works slowly to get you into rebounding on a mini trampoline.
These same women did come back to me to tell me that by week 15 they could see the differences in their body and on the scales. I have to also say that pretty much every person who takes the Rebound For Wellness Programmes notices a difference in their body within 5 weeks, even when that difference is small.
