
At the weekend I was out on my road bike and the one thing I looked forward to was just 5 minutes rebounding at the end of the cycle.
Post Viral Illness & Exercise
I have to confess that because of my history with a Post Viral Illness (for over 30 years), I am unable to cycle much. This is why I prefer to use an E-assist bike to help get me up the hills with relative ease and allow me to go on longer cycles.
I have only begun to use a road bike over the last year. This is a major achievement for me on many fronts. Road bikes have very thin tyres and are easy to fall off!! But for me, a road bike also means, shorter journeys and the possibility of over doing it.
Even Gentle Rebounding Works
The beauty about gentle rebounding is that I don’t have to be long on the rebounder for my body to begin to feel benefits. Rebounding stimulates the lymphatic system to work better and quicker. This helps the lactic acid that has built up in the muscles during the cycle to get pumped out of the body quicker.
For me this is a real benefit and it allows me to have less soreness after a cycle and to be back on the bike quicker. I do have to say that no amount of rebounding can help with the soreness left after being on that saddle for over two hours.
The Benefits of Gentle Rebounding
Rebounding has so many benefits that I really think every single person should be doing some gentle rebounding every day. Even just 5 minutes gentle rebounding will help you get your lymphatic system working better, but why stop at 5 minutes.

I Have A Long History With Rebounding
