My Own Exercising Journey
Since my mid-twenties, exercising for fitness has never been my strong point, especially since I got that Post-Viral Illness back in 1998. You can imagine my relief when I discovered that I didn’t actually need to exercise to a fitness level. That is what I discovered when I began to learn about rebounding during my Kinesiology training.
But I do need to exercise for my wellness.
The other thing that I learnt was for my body to work for wellness, I do need to have daily weight bearing motion – also known as exercise.
Exercise Doesn’t Always Meet Your Needs
In my Kinesiology practice, I meet lots of people who are over exercising. These people are following vigorous exercise plans that are putting their physical body under too much pressure. When you ask a lot of your body, you need to give a lot to your body – extra nutrients, water, appropriate rest, etc…
When you are exercising to a high level of intensity and feeding your body to help you meet this level of intensity, you are going to need to remain at this level. Another issue I notice is that people exercise a lot, then stop and the body, which is like an elastic band can’t cope with going from full steam to stop too quickly.
Exercise is not about inflicting pain, but more about keeping you well.
Exercise is meant to be all about wellness. You are only meant to be doing enough to keep you well. When you think of exercise in this way, you change your whole outlook and your approach to exercise. You also now see exercise as something you can do.
You Need To Be Active Every Day
Daily weight bearing motion keeps your lymphatic system working better. With all the toxins that are in the world, the lymphatic system can get blocked up easily. Rebounding gently, for a max of 20 minutes each day can offer your body the weight bearing motion it needs.
Some other ways of getting that weight bearing motion are walking up and down stairs, bending over to pick things off the floor, cleaning, cycling, swimming, jogging and dancing.
Rebound For Wellness Works For Women Over 40
If you’re a little or a lot over 40 and not exercising you need to think again. That lymphatic system needs working to keep your hormones flowing and your lymph nodes actively pushing lymph through your body. Getting into exercising isn’t always easy, but with Rebound For Wellness programmes it is always possible.

I have found, from my research and many years rebounding, that when it comes to rebounding, you do not need to be over-exerting yourself. This is why it works so well for those over 50, 60 and even 70 years of age.
Because you begin very slowly, you ease yourself into rebounding. This way you are slowly getting used to being on the rebounder, which helps you be aware of your rebounding surface. Those who feel unsteady on their feet can gat a support bar with most rebounders.
Always remember that you rebound at your own risk and if you have any health concerns it might be a good idea to let your medical team know you are thinking of rebounding slowly for a minute to begin.
A little goes a long way when you Rebound For Your Wellness.
In 1980, NASA scientists published a paper showing Rebounding to be 68% more effective that running on a treadmill. It was these scientists who also said that rebounding boosted the lymphatic system, worked every cell in the body and was low-impact on the joints. Not only did they say rebounding was low-impact, but that the impact was spread evenly through all the main joints. What is not to like about Rebounding?
Because it is so effective you really don’t need to do a lot of rebounding to get a lot of benefits from it. I really do stress this with anyone who is beginning to rebound for the first time because I want you to transition into rebounding in a way that will get you rebounding safely and keep you rebounding for many years to come.
Your Cells Need You To Be Active
You have some 80 trillion (or more)cells in our body. Those cells make up our muscles, bones, organs, skin, etc.. Working all these cells too quickly will cause them to get over-stressed leading to strains, pulls, fatigue, or just very tight muscles.

The Basic Rebound For Wellness Programme we will start with just 1 minute gentle rebounding each day. Each week you build so gradually to your rebounding time that you don’t even notice you are increasing your intensity.
By using a slow programme like this, you also get to listen to your body and you tend to realise when you have reached your limit as a lot of women have reported.
All three Programmes consist of at least 20 weekly videos guiding you on building your wellness through slow and gradual increases to your rebounding time and intensity. When I say intensity, I can’t say that my programmes come anywhere close to the intensity of those you might find on YouTube, etc. But they will be intense enough for you to get what you need for your wellness.
You Get Life Time Access To Your Programme
Because you have life time access, you can remain at any of the weekly levels for as long as you feel you need to. Only progress to the next week when you are ready. You can also go back over weeks at any stage if you wish.
Many women move from week to week with no sense of feeling over stressed or over tired. When they do, they slow down and remain at the previous week until they feel ready to move on.
If you fall away from your rebounding practice, you can can always return to the Programme and begin again. No one is going to judge you or condemn you, but I will really celebrate when you get back to your rebounding.
