How stressed are you? On a scale of -5 (really stressed) to plus 5 (not stressed at all) – with 0 being neutral – where would you put yourself on the scale right now?
Your Thoughts Are Vital When Stressed
Did you know that what you think and do when you are stressed is going to have a huge impact on how you cope with stress. Most of the time when you are stressed, you have absolutely no control over what you think and do. That is because when you trigger a stress response the blood flow is directed away from your logical conscious thinking brain leaving you with access to your internal subconscious and automatic thoughts and beliefs.
Your Data Bank Is Full of Negativity
Your subconscious data bank of thoughts and beliefs are very helpful pretty much all day long and night long too. They keep you sitting up, breathing, carrying out all your physical actions and daily habits. But, in there are also all the unresolved negative thought patterns that keep you triggering a stress response all of the time. This keeps you thinking you are not good enough, not able to cope, feeling a fraud, etc..
How Does This Stress System Work?
There are certain parts of your brain that are always processing data. Every single second of every single day, parts of your brain are assessing what you are experiencing or doing and sifting through your data system of past experiences and the thoughts and beliefs you got from those experiences to see if you think you can cope or not cope.
What You Think Will Come True
From all the work I have done at an energy balancing or retuning level, I would have to say that when you are stressed it is you who can help yourself the most. That might sound strange, but it is the truth.
Stress and how stressed you get is down your perception of the situation you are in. What that means is, you have 24/7 access to the huge amount of subconscious data of thoughts and beliefs that you have been saving from a few weeks after conception right up to around 7 years old.
Yes you do continue to add to it, but the key founding thoughts that will determine how you respond to a given situation are already in the data base from very early on – and possibly from when you were in the womb.
Automatic Past Thoughts Are Most Powerful
Your past thoughts and beliefs determine whether you will trigger a stress response, or not. They also determine how long you will remain stressed. This is where you can be key to your own recovery from stress. What you tell yourself, how you breathe, what you physically do will all have a huge bearing on how stressed you are and how long you are in that stressed state.
I must add that the foods you eat, exercise you take and beverages you drink will also trigger that stress response if they are full of processed sugars. Indeed, when you are over stressed for a long time, you lack the ability to digest foods and your immune system will begin to lower. This makes you very susceptible to viruses and other pathogens.
Tapping Calmed My Stress
Tapping really helped me to calm non-trigger panic attacks many years ago. Tapping is one of my main stress management tools. So is solar plexus breathing, guided energy retuning and daily exercise. My kinesiology training also has me on a pretty good diet for my wellness.
Now I work To Help Others Calm Their Stress
When I work with clients I help them to go back into their memory bank and retune some of the stress triggering thoughts and beliefs from their past. It is like retuning or recycling old negative and stress triggering thoughts for new positive ones that will raise your vibration and enhance your wellness and success each day.
Success Comes with Resolution Of The Past
For this to happen, we may have to work on resolving past trauma events, (big and small) to allow the thoughts and beliefs to change. What thoughts and beliefs would you love to change, to recycle. In my book – Tap Into Success, I guide you through a simple process of taking old negative and subconscious thoughts and retuning them to positive frequencies for your wellness and success.
