
I get asked this question a lot. “Can Rebound For Wellness Programmes help me to strengthen my bones?” While I have no scientific proof that my specific programmes can do this, let me share some information from Albert E. Carter, the man who researched the benefits of rebounding.
In chapter 10 of his book: Rebound Exercise, Albert Carter explains how bone density is a function of the cells. He explains that ‘bone is composed of a tough organic matrix that is greatly strengthened by deposits of calcium salts. The average compact bone contains about 30% matrix (mostly made up of collagen) and 70 % bone salts (mostly calcium).
