Stress, Isn’t Going Away.
In fact, I think it would be fair to say that more and more people are suffering from what I call long-term stress related illness. In my book Tap Into Success, the very first question I ask is about stress. I ask, with so many tools and techniques available to us, why is it that stress related illnesses continue to rise?
We Have Different Stresses
You and I will have totally different stressors. You have thoughts and beliefs about yourself that you have learnt as a result of your experiences in life. When you have a negative thought or belief about yourself it will trigger a stress response. When you have a positive belief about yourself, you tune your energy to success. This sort of thought process is going on in your energy every single second of your life.
95% Of Your Thinking Is Subconscious
I often talk about how 95% of your thinking goes on automatically and subconsciously all the time. Most of this thinking comprises of the thoughts that need to happen for your body to carry out all the actions and internal natural process like digesting your food. It is good that we have these thoughts going on all the time, other wise we would not function, we would die!
The difficulty, as you know, is when these thoughts are negative beliefs about yourself. They will trigger that stress response.
The First Key Natural Stress Solution
That is why the very first challenge for us all is to find a way to retune our negative automatic thoughts to positive ones. In my book, Tap Into Success, I call this going from an energy of stress to success.
I use my own New Advanced Form of Tapping to help me change my thoughts. This form of Tapping not only works on thoughts, it also helps me Retune my meridians and neurotransmitter energies all at the same time. The Eastern Way believes the thought creates the vibration for your whole energy system and the blood and body follow. Your thoughts are making you sick or well. They are making your stressed or successful.
The Second Natural Stress Solution
After retuning my thoughts, I then need to keep my diet and nutritional support in check. For this I attend Kinesiology Sessions. I tend to space these out through the year. I always believe that prevention is much better than cure. By making sure I am getting the essential nutrition that I need for meeting my wellness needs I am keeping myself in a state of wellness.
SUGAR & STRESS
I have found that sugar, dairy, most spices, peppers, pepper seasoning and some grains tend to knock my energy out of balance. So I stay away from these foods pretty much all of the time. It can be really difficult to always stay away from sugar, this is something I tap on, to help me make other choices when it comes to sweetness. Sugar is acid forming and is believed to feed cancer cells. Sugar puts your pancreas under huge pressure to release insulin and will lead to insulin resistance. I would also make sure I am drinking enough water each day, to keep myself rehydrated.
The Third Key Stress Solution is Exercise.
This can be really difficult with a busy day and the menopause experience. For me Rebounding is my greatest success when it comes to managing menopause and stress.
Some days, especially during winter, I just want to curl up on the couch and not exercise. I have to confess that there are days this is what happens. But, I have to also say that the days I get up on that rebounder, I do feel much better.
Rebounding Benefits Are Real Stress Solutions
The biggest benefit of rebounding, for me, is it works my whole lymphatic system. There are so many illnesses that can be cleared when we can keep the lymphatic system working at its best.
Another great benefit of rebounding is that it offers me that daily weight bearing motion my energy and bones need to promote strength. Of course I have to say that the greatest results come when I keep all three of these key parts moving every single day.
My 3 Key Wellness Solutions
These three key wellness solutions keep me surfing the waves of stress that come my way. By taking good nutrition, rebounding and Tapping, I keep myself on the road of wellness. I’m working at keeping my stress levels low and offering myself the natural support I need to keep me well, even through these menopause years.
What Are Your Stress Solutions?
You may like what I do and want to get into some of these habits. You may even be sick of hearing about these great habits in my weekly blogs, but bottom line, it doesn’t matter what I do. It matters what you do for your wellness. What natural wellness habits help you retune your stresses for success? What gets you through your day?
Try To Include The Following In Your Day
Make sure you have some form of weight bearing exercise that gets your lymphatic system moving each day. Have good forms of nutrition that will enhance your diet and help you cope with the stresses that come along. Cut out those sugary treats as much as you can. Find a way to get your thoughts focused on building you and others up and not knocking people down.
On top of all of this, make sure you are drinking a good source of water and try to get around 1.5 – 2 litres into your body each day. In winter time, it would be a great idea to keep that water at room temperature or warmer and you might like to add a bit of mint or lemon into that water.
