
Success can be yours. Stress can also be yours. It is all down to your focus and that is set by your thoughts. I am always talking about energy, because everything is energy. Everything has a vibration. Stress has its vibration and so too has success.
What you focus on you get. By calming your stressed energy you can then re-focus on success with much more ease. You can do this all naturally. The only side effects are positive ones when you work to retune your energy in a natural way.
3 Steps To Ground Your Day In Success
Step 1 – Your First Thought Counts
The first thought you think when you wake each morning sets your energy for that day. You can plan the thoughts you think. You can make your thoughts positive. One way that I recommend is to put post-its exactly where your eyes will look when you wake in the morning. Make that thought count. I recommend it is an ‘I truly am’ thought. Some examples would be:
- I truly am successful.
- I truly love myself.
- I truly trust that my day will be filled with love and joy.
- I truly am grateful for all the blessings that come to me this day.
- I truly am grateful for … (list all the things you are grateful for)
- I truly believe in myself
- I truly believe I am successful
Step 2 – Make Everything You Already Do Well A Success
Would it surprise you to know that most of your day is already filled with success, its just that you don’t see it that way yet! Think of the simplest of things, like brushing your teeth, making your breakfast. There are so many normal daily events in your life that you could use to help you raise your vibration of success.
Each week, make a list of 5 things you already do well in your day. Then when you do these things each day, consciously celebrate your success. Begin with the simplest of things, say brushing your teeth. When you finish this task, do the tongue around the teeth check and then push the air and say I truly am successful. Sometimes I just say – success!
The purpose of this task each day is to feel successful and celebrate your successes. So, please don’t set yourself up for failure by choosing to focus on tasks you may not be successful at each day. Yes you are focusing on the simplest of tasks. This is not a competition and there are no rules other than you are celebrating your success and raising your success vibrations.
Gradually each week, you will start to add in other things you do well and eventually you will be adding in totally new things to do well because you are so confident in setting yourself up for success that you will attracting new ways to celebrate success.
Step 3 – Remove 1 Source of Processed Sugar From Your Day
This will possibly be the hardest challenge. There are a lot of reasons why you get emotionally connected to sugary foods. Unfortunately they only add to your already stressed energy. Processed sugar triggers a stress response in your body because the pancreas cannot process the processed sugar and gets fatigued very quickly.
Have a replacement food. I know nothing is going to fully replace your really sweet treat. I also know that when you have something in the house, or in your work bag, that will give you a natural sugar hit, that your other stress levels will ease. You have been conditioned since birth to believe that eating eases stress.
Also when you are stressed for a long time, your body will run out of energy. This is when you seek to get more energy in fast. By offering say an apple and some seeds or nuts into your system you will satisfy the need for energy. The nuts or seeds are a protein source and will act to regulate the sugar in the fruit. This will prolong the energy you get from the food.
What piece of processed sugar is going today? Just one. Then after a week choose another piece to take out of your day. Remember to add in an alternative that is natural and fresh.
Why Focusing On Success May Not Work
If you are like me, you might not always be able to set your day for success, or stick to the three steps above. Imagine you were able to take these steps most days. Wouldn’t that make an amazing difference to your day.
Quite often you can fail at new habits because you are in an automatic negative triggering of the stress response all of the time. This is going on subconsciously in your energy system and you have got so used to it that you are not even aware that you are doing it.
There Are Signs Of Stress
But you do get lots of signs that this is happening. One sign that you are triggering the stress response automatically is that you are always seeing the glass as half empty. You tend to be more critical of your self and others. You can find it difficult to encourage others. You struggle to switch off when it comes to sleep. You might make a joke of things because it’s too overwhelming to begin to face the parts of you that are caught in a stressed energy.
Remember Stress Can Be Retuned
