I was Tapping recently with a new client, online. At the end of the first session she asked what I had done to make her feel so good. She said it was like she had just had an energy shake-up. A day later she contacted me to say shortly after the session she felt really tired and lay down for a rest – she woke 3 hours later feeling like her whole energy system had just been re-set.
I get this great feedback all of the time. I have to say to such clients that I don’t fully know why this new advanced Tapping system that I have just used with them is so powerful and works so well. But what I do know is it works and they are the proof that it works.
Here Are Just 3 Reasons I Think This New Two Meridian Tapping System Works So Well.
1. 2 Different Points Are Tapped At The Same Time
Tapping on points of the body is something that has been done for thousands of years. Tapping is a form of Chinese Acupressure. You may never have heard of Acupressure, but you might well know of Acupuncture. Well, Acupuncture was developed from Acupressure. Acupressure is where you hold, tap, rub or apply pressure to certain energy points on the body to clear any blocks in their related energy pathways (meridians).
In Two Meridian Tapping (the form of Tapping used in my book – Tap Into Success) you tap on two different energy points at the same time and you do this in a certain order. This very act of tapping on the end points of two energy pathways that work together will nudge away any blocks in those pathways and help them do a much better job.
Meridians, are pathways of energy that flow down both sides of your body – you have 14 main meridian energy pathways, that work together in pairs. It is these pairs that you are tapping together. When you Tap these pairs in a certain order you are clearing the blocks to allow for a greater flowing of your energy.
2. Setting Your Energy Frequency for Wellness and Success
Once you have the blocks cleared you need to set the frequency of the energy vibration and you do this with your thoughts. What you think is literally what you tune your vibration to. That is why I have all my clients create their ‘I truly …’ scripts. An example would be ‘I truly am calm’. This will set your energy pathways, that you are Tapping on, to the frequency of calm.
The Power of Your Subconscious Thoughts And How Tapping Helps To Change Them
In Eastern medicine it is held that your thoughts determine the vibrational frequency of your energy pathways and the blood and organs will flow along with that energy. So, you might think, ‘all I need to do is change my thoughts and everything else will flow along’.
That is what I used to think and I was quite disappointed when my energy flow wasn’t changing after thinking so many positive thoughts. Then I did some Tapping, read Bruce Liptons book – The Biology of Belief and studied the Law of Attraction and my whole world changed.
Tapping can help to change both conscious and subconscious thinking patterns – for good.
Roughly 95% of your thoughts are subconscious. That means you are not conscious of what they are, but they are still affecting your energy, probably more than the conscious thoughts you are having, because you are not aware that you are thinking them, so you won’t know that you need to change these thoughts. The conscious thoughts can be changed when we realise we are thinking them.
Tapping while thinking this Truly Positive script will retune your energy to that script and the rest of your physical being will flow along with that vibrational frequency.
3. Resolving Past Energy Blocks Allows Old Scripts to Retune
In previous Blog Posts I have talked about Neuroplasticity – this is where science has discovered that we can rewire our old negative thoughts and beliefs. I firmly believe that Tapping helps us to take an older very strong negative script and retune it to a more positive success focused script. This is why Tapping has cleared a long standing fear or phobia with lasting effect. It is why my non-trigger panic attacks just disappeared and have never returned.
I also know that stress is the leading cause of symptoms like anxiety and depression. By Tapping every single day I will help myself stay focused, balanced and calm so that I can surf the waves of stress that come my way.

Sometimes I think we can get too caught up in needing to prove why a technique like Tapping works, and lose sight of the very important fact that it does indeed work.
I Tell Everyone About Tapping Because I Know It Works
I talk a lot about Tapping and all that it can do for you and me. I can’t help it! Any chance I get I talk about the benefits of Tapping. There are many benefits. The main one being how quickly Tapping can calm the parts of the brain that trigger the stress response.
This is what I have found in my own life. Old familiar, normally quite negative scripts seem to disappear or better still a recurring habit or pain in my body clears. I take all of these as indications that the subconscious scripts have changed.
